How long will it take for my acne to clear?

Clearing times can differ based on various factors. For clients doing virtual consultations for bi-monthly acne guidance, most will see clear skin in about 90 days. Non-clinic clients using the entire ALIGNED skincare kit and following dietary guidelines typically achieve clear skin within 90 to 180 days.

What should I do if my acne isn’t clearing, or my skin feels irritated by the products?

Stop using the products and consult your skincare professional or doctor.

Do I need to change my diet to improve my skin?
Yes, diet plays a critical role in clearing your skin. Foods such as dairy, soy, peanuts, processed carbs, and sugar can slow down or even halt the clearing process.

Can I use my existing skincare products while using ALIGNED products for my acne-prone skin?
We don’t recommend it. Even one pore-clogging ingredient can disrupt the clearing process. Each product in our acne kit is designed to work together for optimal results.

When will my skin no longer be prone to acne?
People who frequently experience breakouts often have a genetic predisposition to acne. As you age, hormonal balance can fluctuate, leading to better or worse skin conditions. This change can happen at any age and at any point in our lives.

Should I take antibiotics to help with my acne?
Long-term antibiotic use is not recommended due to the risk of antibiotic resistance and potential gut flora issues. Antibiotics are a temporary solution that address bacteria and inflammation but don't correct the hormonal imbalance causing breakouts.

How do I choose non-pore clogging makeup for my acne-prone skin?

What skincare products can I use once I am clear?
We refer to this as maintenance mode. The ALIGNED skincare products that helped clear your skin will also help maintain it, as long as you follow the recommended diet and lifestyle changes as well.

- Currently, we only ship within the United States.
- We do NOT ship to California.
- Orders of $300 or more qualify for FREE shipping.
- Orders under $300 have a flat rate shipping fee of $8.95.
- Orders are fulfilled Monday to Friday, excluding major holidays.
- Please allow 1-2 days for order processing in addition to shipping times.
- We ship via USPS Priority Mail. Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days.
- You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped. Delivery estimates begin when the order is shipped.
- Shipping rates may change due to carrier rate increases.
- Shipping times to Alaska and Hawaii may be longer.

- Full refunds are available for returns within 14 days of purchase. Returns must be postmarked within this period.
- Products must be unused to qualify for a return. Used products are not eligible.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY
